Spanish architecture strengthens its global presence from the Costa del Sol to New York, Abu Dhabi, Vilamoura, and most recently, Adelaide (Australia).

Following the sale of NIWA, one of the most emblematic villas on the Costa del Sol, architecture firm ARK Architects is giving new momentum to its international projection. Under the creative direction of Manuel Ruiz Moriche, co-founder of the studio, ARK continues to position Spanish architecture as a symbol of excellence, conscious design, and global sophistication.

The firm’s international expansion brings its philosophy of Bioarchitecture to unique settings, where respect for the environment, natural light, and noble materials give shape to spaces that go beyond functionality to become true life experiences.

“Each place has its own DNA, and that’s precisely what inspires us. We design from the soul of the place, with a perspective that balances emotion, nature, and architecture,” explains Manuel Ruiz
Moriche, Creative Director at ARK.

From New York to Abu Dhabi, including Vilamoura and Adelaide, ARK’s projects reflect a deeply Mediterranean sensibility with a global vocation. Masterpieces conceived to engage in dialogue with their surroundings, consolidating the prestige of Spanish architecture in some of the world’s most demanding markets.

In Australia, ARK has found fertile ground to unfold its architectural vision in one of the most fascinating and challenging natural environments on the planet. The new project in Adelaide represents a milestone in its trajectory: a residence integrated into the coastal landscape, designed to capture the essence of the place through clean lines, sustainable materials, and a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. Here, architecture does not impose—it accompanies, engaging with the terrain, the climate, and the unique Australian light.

This entry into Oceania not only marks ARK’s arrival on a new continent, but also symbolizes the growing global demand for architecture that blends technology, emotion, and sustainability. In a context where environmental awareness increasingly drives urban planning decisions, ARK brings a singular approach: to build less, but better; to design with intention; and to create spaces that endure over time, both for their beauty and their respect for the natural surroundings.

With this new chapter, ARK Architects reaffirms its commitment to innovation, excellence, and a way of living that places people and nature at the heart of design.
