Sustainable
architecture

The World Commission on Environment and Development defines sustainability as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. When applying this complex concept to architecture, it then refers to design that creates healthy living environments while aiming to minimize negative environmental impacts, energy consumption, and the use of human resources.

Sustainability and efficiency are integrated into our projects through four fundamental points:

DESIGN

The most important, arising from a clear understanding of the location, the light and the needs of the people that will live there. No two homes can ever by the same as each one is specific to a certain place, the characteristics of which are properly analysed to create a design fully suited to the conditions of the environment, climate and landscape. In this way, the project is sustainable from the outset. It is a philosophy conceived through the humanist approach of our architect and designer, Manuel Ruiz Moriche.

PURE, NATURAL MATERIALS

A guarantee of thermal and sound insulation, impermeable surfaces to filter water, highly efficient thermal insulation, water drainage systems, rainwater harvesting for watering gardens.

EFFICIENT BUILDING AND INSTALLATIONS

Ventilation and dehumidification systems, photovoltaic panels, energy storage batteries, aerothermal systems, ventilated walls, etc.

LANDSCAPING

We create houses that look like gardens by conserving all the natural surroundings and integrating them into the project; we use native species that are adapted to the environment to reduce the demand for water, and we perform an in-depth study of the landscape to

take advantage of its characteristics, while not forgetting drainage systems and water harvesting for use in the gardens.
