In its latest issue, the prestigious magazine dedicates an extensive article to Villa Tai, one of our most iconic projects located in La Reserva de Sotogrande, where we explore a timeless vision of living—one in which architecture, nature, and design coexist in perfect harmony.
Journalist Chiara Testoni describes with great sensitivity how this project, designed by our Creative Director Manuel Ruiz Moriche, blends into the Andalusian landscape with a refined, Mediterranean architectural language that is both elegant and restrained. The villa stands on a natural stone podium, enhancing its stately presence and offering privileged views of the sea.
One of the defining elements of the design is the fluid connection between indoor living and the surrounding environment, achieved through large glass surfaces that allow light and landscape to become integral components of the architecture. Sustainability also plays a key role, with passive design strategies, cross ventilation, and the use of local materials that honour the ecosystem and the identity of the place.
Inside, every space is conceived as a sanctuary of calm and serenity, with a carefully curated selection of furniture by Molteni&C, an Italian design leader in high-end interiors. The furnishings—by renowned designers such as Vincent Van Duysen, Rodolfo Dordoni, Naoto Fukasawa, and Herzog & de Meuron—infuse the home with a quiet, timeless elegance, far removed from fleeting trends.
